Just to say Hi

Just wanted to let ya'll know that we are doing well. I have been fighting a battle but I know the Lord will carry me through. He is yelling in my ear be anxious for nothing. Nothing at all, Period, end of talking about it! We all had birthdays. I am 33 now. Aiden and James are 3 and 2.
Cody's season of baseball is almost done. Football starts in August. He is a busy kid. It is great though! We have a lot of fun. I can't wait for the summer. I am ready to go campy at the beach and just enjoy what the good Lord had given me!

So Cody's birthday has come and gone just like that! Though it rained all day God blessed us with a very good time. Lots of friends and family. The important people in life! I don't like to say things cause we aren't things! I have been sick with bronchitis for about a week now. Had this illness since last Tuesday! YUCK!!!! I am so over it! God gave me the strength along with the help of my mom and mother in law (Val 1) to pull it off. We all had a great time. Enjoy the pictures!

Mommy Pride

Ok so I have a little bit of Mommy pride. Most of you know that last season Cody played AA baseball. Well this year he has been drafted to play AAA baseball. One league higher! How excited am I!!!!! This will only be his second year playing. He will be playing for the Padres and season starts February 28. He must take after his Dad in sports! He also wants to play football this fall. We might have a busy boy this year. Praise the Lord! I was never envolved in sports so I am so glad Cody is doing this and not being a scary cat like I was! I will email his schedule to all. Pray for no injuries. Talk to you all soon!

Starting something new

So I have decided to try something new! A friend of mine does this and it is neat to read the updates about her and the family! I used to do this a lot actually when I was pregnant with Gabe. It was on CarePages. Anyhow I will keep this short as possible. We will be celebrating Cody's 10th birthday on February 6. I can not believe he is 10. I remember when he was a wee little lad. He is getting to be ao tall. He starts his second year of baseball pretty soon and we are excited to get that going again. He will be playing for Wildomar Little League this year. I will post his schedule as soon as I get it.
As far as our life without Gabe....it has been a little hard. Some days are rough. We miss him very much and think about his cute little face all the time. We have already seen and heard all the wonderful things that God is doing with that precious little life. We are so thankful everyday that God was with us in all of our choices. Richie and I talk about if we had made one different choice how we wouldn't have all the wonderful memories we have now. Cody is also doing good. He has wondered what his brother might be doing in heaven. I thank God for Cody everyday too. I know God has used Cody to help me move back to the new normal of my life. He is a wonderful blessing to Richie and I.
